I call these cupcakes because they are small, yummy, fun and a different approach than my large scale artwork. They are mean to be collected like different flavors that compliment each other.
Raw emotions. “Jamais” - Never. Never will I feel this way, never will I behave like this, “Jamais, Jamais, Jamais”. Through this exploration working on large scale canvases, through wide space, breathing space, all emotion came into play. Doing what I said I never would proved to be a pivotal point in my life.
